Very good in 3/4 leather and red cloth, top edge gilt. Endpapers marbled. Spines are gilt with five bands, foot reads "Extra Illustrated 1804" which appears to be a misprint though all volumes have it. There are over 200 sewn-in illustrations on fine card stock with images of the period, engravings, autograph reproductions, etc.
